Member Benefits
Membership will help you develop grantmaking skills, learn about
important community topics, listen to updates on projects that
received funding, and meet other grantmakers at one of the Western
New York Grantmakers Association workshops held throughout the
year, such as:
- Issue based strategy sessions
Funder-to-funder discussion of current emerging issues of relevance
to all funders that encourages the sharing of best practices.
- Community projects presentations
Hear reports on ongoing activities, including updates on grants
in progress.
- Annual Conference and other programs
These bring grantmakers and grantseekers together for the purpose

Eligibility Requirements
Membership is open to independent foundations, family foundations,
corporate foundations and giving programs, and grantmaking public
charities. Each member organization shall designate one person – either
a current board member or staff member – as the organizational
representative.
